Without active debate on taking the profit motive away from the drug companies, who are enabled by the FDA, there will be no true reform. I haven't heard this in the debate, at all. Half of the drugs on the market weren't even properly tested or fake reults were used to get the FDA to pass it. And why should a drug like Lipitor have a profit margin of 5,000% for each pill sold. It's criminal.
